Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development is set to organize a seminar next Sunday which will address the legislative and regulatory challenges and constraints facing the private sector, and issues relevant to private sector contracting procedures. The seminar will be conducted in participation of a large number of representatives of the public and private sectors, in addition to experts , consultants and academicians concerned with legislative and regulatory issues, representing civil society institutions, universities, public and private research and study centers, financial institutions, investment and financial markets and competent legal associations. The seminar opening speech by HE Mohammed Omar Abdulla, the Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, will bring to light the importance of the substance issues of the seminar, which prompted ADDED to keenly focus on initiatives to aid economic legislation and spur the development of business in the emirate.The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, HE Mubarak Saeed Al Dhahery will deliver a speech which will emphasize the efforts of the ministry for developing existing legislation and the activation procedures designed to organize the labor sector in the State.HE Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, the Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber, will address the opening seminar, highlighting the most important challenges facing the private sector, and the Chamber’s role in overcoming the obstacles and difficulties through coordination and joint efforts with relevant government agencies.Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Al Abed, the Economic Specialist at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic will make a presentation on the legislative and regulatory challenges and contracting procedures constraints facing the private sector.The Legal Expert at the Department of Economic Development, Dr. Mohammed Haitham Salman, will highlight in a presentation the legislative solutions proposed to address the constraints faced by private sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
