Abu Dhabi, Nov 18th, 2011 ..President of the Republic of Rwanda H. H. Paul Kagami, has discussed recently with Nasser Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development (DED), the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to bolster them, especially in the areas of trade and investment.
During his visit to the DED, the Rwandan President was briefed about the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, its strategic objectives and main sectors the Abu Dhabi government is seeking to develop to attain sustainable economic development based on knowledge driven economy.
The two sides exchanged views on the economic and investment potentials in both countries. They also tackled trade exchange and opening of avenues for the private sector.
Al Suwaidi welcomed the Rwandan President and the delegation accompanying him, stressing keenness of Abu Dhabi government to further enhance its relations with the African friendly countries, which could benefit from Abu Dhabi as a trade portal and business hub.
For his part, Kagami hailed the progress achieved by the UAE at the regional and international levels, citing the wise policies of the UAE leadership
