Eight of the executive directors and senior staff in the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi had graduated from the Executive Leadership Program, organized by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Economic Knowledge in collaboration with Cranfield School of Management. This Program was developed by the Centre to meet the future needs of the officials in accordance with the new role of the Department and the requirements of the implementation of the Economic Vision 2030 for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.The managers attended lessons and specialized training programs for 14 months to succeed in the program, which included the development of leadership skills, teamwork, presentation skills and a wellness program. The Program was concluded by drafting a 100-day agenda team projects, each in one of the key areas in the Department.HE Mohammed Omar Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Department, has attended the graduation ceremony as the representative of HE Nasser Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department, to present the certificates to Their Excellencies: Hamad Abdullah Al Mas, Ghanem Mohammed Al Fendi Al Mazroui, Aisha Al Sheikh Al Zaabi, Moza Mohammad Al Qubaisi, Rashed Ali Al Zaabi, Khaled Al Kaabi, Sultan Al Mansouri and Hussein Al kathiri.HE the undersecretary commended the commitment of the managers and their strive to fulfill all the requirements of the Program despite the challenges they faced. He considered that they have achieved a breakthrough equal to the role required from them in the next stage and in conformity with the tasks that lie ahead after the completion of the restructuring process of the Department of Economic Development in accordance with advanced criteria to meet the needs of the implementation of the Economic Vision 2030.He noted that this achievement is the beginning of the many fruits we expect from the Abu Dhabi Centre for Economic Knowledge which is expected to establish an advanced economic ideology in the Emirate to cope with the aspirations of our wise leadership of all governmental officials of different functions, inside or outside the Department.Abu Dhabi Centre for Economic Knowledge is one of the newly created centers in the Department of Economic Development under resolution No. 25 of 2010. Its main task is to contribute to the development of the human capacity and knowledge of the Department’s leaders through the provision of specialized knowledge techniques in various economic and institutional fields.
