Commercial Directory 16 May. 2010 Requirements for issuing a trade license
- Register a trade name either by a personal visit to the Departments offices or through the internet
- Determine the legal business form taking into consideration the desired business activity/ activities and the number and nationality of the partners/ owner.
- Determine the license type (commercial, industrial, agriculture or professional)
- Determine the type of business activity /activities to be practiced.
- Determine the activity nature and all related activities that can be included within each business license.
- Determine all the Department’s requirements and conditions of the desired license.
- Submit an application to the Department for an initial approval (Optional choice) either by a personal visit to the Departments offices or through the internet.
- Prepare other approvals for relevant government authorities as required according to the activities. For example for a medical clinic an, approval issued by the Ministry of Health is required.
- Prepare all required documents such as memoranda of association, lease contract for the required period of licensing and other required documents.
- Submit an application to the Department to obtain a final license.
- Pay the required fees and collect your license.
16 May. 2010 The purpose of such an approval is to ensure that the Department does not object to the license, and to permit completion of other documents required for issuing a final license and proceeding with the activity.

16 May. 2010 Complaints are made against the provider of goods and services does not commit to the national and local laws and regulations, such as the following: 1- Commercial fraud, i.e., selling counterfeit goods or offering services and goods that are not meeting specifications. 2- High prices. 3- After sale services issues. 4- The provider refuses to refund money or exchange damaged or defected goods. 5- The provider is not committed to product labeling that clearly imply the name, nature, type and ingredients of the product, production and expiry dates, net weight, country of origin and country of export (if applicable). 6- The provider offers goods without price tags clearly displayed. 7- The provider does not provide the consumer with a dated invoice which includes goods description, price and any other information. 8- The provider does not provide spare parts for durable goods within a limited period, or does not comply with guarantees announced or agreed upon with the consumer. 9- The provider is not committed to health and safety requirements.
